As a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher E-RYT® 500, I’ve taught classes to groups, individuals, and aspiring yoga teachers since 2003. The related fields of biomechanics, deep tissue release, and strength education inspire my teaching. I offer classes that build a student’s trust in their body’s innate intelligence and help them feel better. I'm grateful for all that I've learned, consciously and accidentally!
PLEASE READ: At this time, ALL CLASSES LISTED are currently IN PERSON ONLY, limited to 5 - 6 people, and held at a small, private studio space in the Central District of Seattle. I’ll share the address and other details with you via email after you register for class. There are a few yoga mats to borrow, but I encourage you to bring your own if you have one. All other props are provided. You must be able to walk down a flight of 12 carpeted stairs to get into the studio.

*The Basics of Yoga & Essential Movement Classes/Series*
In-Person 6-week SERIES: Sept. 15 - Oct. 20, 5:30-6:45pm
Wondering how to begin a movement practice? Prefer to move at a more mindful pace? Want to improve your range of motion, strength, and flexibility? Then The Basics of Yoga & Essential Movement classes or a 6-week series are for you.
Is this yoga, or something else? It's a combo! There are things I learned in yoga that I didn't get anywhere else—and, there are "essential" movements I learned elsewhere that aren't always taught in yoga classes.
I offer a hybrid/combination of practices and movement modalities for healthy joints and functional strength, along with basic yoga postures and other shapes that just feel good.
You will: * learn basic mindfulness skills and techniques * improve joint mobility and control * learn how to use props to cultivate strength, flexibility, mobility, or assist in deep tissue release * cultivate strength and stamina for life * be encouraged to practice at your own pace
To take part in a Basics of Yoga & Essential Movement class or series, please: have no major injuries or limitations, the ability to walk down and up a flight of 12 stairs, and safely get to and from the floor to practice. (If this not something you feel safe doing, you might be interested in Private Yoga Instruction and Movement Coaching. See the bottom of this page for details.) Plan to practice on an empty-ish stomach and with an open mind.

*Yoga & Myofascial Release Class*
IN PERSON: Sunday, September 7, 8:30-9:45am
FIRST Sundays of the Month @ 8:30-9:45am. UPCOMING 2025 dates: Oct. 5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7
In the Yoga & Myofascial Release classes and workshops we help to reset the body using massage therapy balls for connective tissue release, and unwind via yoga and corrective exercises. You’ll finish with a sense of ease, length, and lightness.
I incorporate yoga and draw inspiration from practices and tools made popular by Katy Bowman and Jill Miller to target deep tissue and fascial release. Appropriate for newer students, those who need options to modify their practice, as well as longtime students who enjoy a practice designed to offer relief to deeper fascial planes that regular asana does not address.
Single Class Pricing: $27
If you’re interested in attending but aren’t able to pay the full amount at this time, please contact me via email (at bottom of page) and we’ll work something out.
**Please note: some rubber therapy balls contain latex.
