In 1991, I took two summer classes: DOS Programming and Yoga. The computer information didn’t stick, but yoga captured my attention from the very first class: I felt taller and quieter.

I was a student at Seattle Yoga Arts for many years and I began to teach yoga in 2003. In 2007, I achieved Anusara-Inspired status and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT/E-RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance. By spring of 2017, I will have completed an additional 300 Hour Teacher Training through Seattle Yoga Arts.

In the last year or so, I've been inspired by those who explore and teach in related fields: biomechanics, deep tissue release, and strength education. The flavor and content of my instruction reflects this inspiration, and I feel that this supports people in their bodies in a more holistic way.

My clear instruction style stems from a desire to make what I teach as accessible as possible. The classes I offer build students’ capacities to trust their own innate intelligence, which is alive in the body, breath, and mind.

I'm grateful for this path and for all that I've learned, consciously and accidentally!
