Tips for developing a home practice:

Donna Farhi suggests the following:

  1. Have a dedicated space in your home that is clean and tidy and has everything you need (mat, block, strap, blanket, bolster…)
  2. Work with a yoga buddy or group.
  3. Set realistic goals.
  4. Keep it fresh by incorporating new ideas (classes, articles, online classes).

My personal tip: find a non-distracting TIMER and use it. I have one that I use every day for practice, meditation, napping, etc. Set the timer for 10 minutes, get on your mat, and move your body mindfully.
